Told through the voices of the survivors, combined with archival and modern footage, the film chronicles the story of “before, during and after” the Holocaust.
The museum spans the spectrum of Jewish experience over three floors, ranging from early 20th century and pre-war communities in Europe and North Africa, to the devastation of the Nazi era as well as the post-war renewal of Jewish cultural life.
The entrance rotunda features a multi-media presentation, which juxtaposes commentary by contemporary Jews on their faith and history with photos and impressions of their forebears.
