These two films are part of eighteen films and interactives we produced for the American Battlefield Monuments Commission that comprise the permanent exhibit the Normandy American Cemetery Visitor Center. These presentations combined with artifacts and panels, tell the story of D-Day and the Normandy campaign. The exhibit, completed in 2007, honors the competence, courage, and sacrifice of the over nine thousand soldiers, sailors, and airmen resting at the Normandy American Cemetery.
“Beyond the Beachhead” is a wall-sized, three screen, projected film that presents the story of the Allied advance from the invasion beaches through the entire Normandy campaign and onto the liberation of Paris.
